A friendly dance & theatre school in the heart of Northampton.
Vinnies Dance & Theatre School teaches a wide range of dance styles, guiding children through developing their technique and building their confidence in performing, while having fun and making new friends.
All our classes run on Saturdays at the Holy Sepulchre Church Halls, Church Lane, Northampton, NN1 3NL.
Dance Classes
Our dance classes include Ballet, Tap Dance, Modern Theatre Dance, Cheerleading, Musical Theatre & Street Dance, for children from age 3½ years.
Ballet, Tap Dance and Modern Theatre Dance classes follow the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D.) syllabus, with students being entered for examinations throughout the year.
Musical Theatre, Cheerleading and Street Dance classes explore different projects each term, to take part in performances at local events as well as our own theatre shows.
Performance Opportunities!
We produce a whole school show which is performed in the summer term at a Northampton theatre.
In December we hold our Class Presentation & Awards Day which features demonstrations of what students have been working on in their classes; and awards celebrating students achievements and progression over the year.
We perform at local events around Northampton and also take part in the annual nationwide Tapathon event in aid of Children in Need.
