Miss Lillian - Principal

Lillian grew up in Scotland and graduated with a BA Hons in Musical Theatre. She is a qualified teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D), having attained her Diploma's in Dance Education through the society, a qualified Cheerleading, Stunting and Tumbling coach through the UK Cheerleading Association and also an accredited teacher with International Performing Arts & Theatre (I-PATH). Lillian joined the teaching staff of Vinnies in 2015 and became owner and Principal in January 2018.

Before moving to Northampton Lillian taught dance and singing at Performance Theatre School, where one of her students successfully auditioned to study at The Dance School of Scotland. Lillian came to Northampton in 2009 and started teaching dance in primary schools across Northamptonshire. She has worked with several local dance and theatre schools teaching classes and being involved in creating pieces for public performances, including choreography for children’s productions of AnnieMatilda, and The Wizard of Oz.

Her professional performing work includes the title role in the pantomimes Dick Whittington and Aladdin, working as a Parades and Shows dancer at Disneyland Resort Paris and being a Park Resorts Team Star running kids’ clubs and performing in the Team Star productions - where she also produced and choreographed her team's end of season shows A Night at the Musicals, and High School Musical Medley.

During her degree course, and more recently with the Northampton Musical Theatre Company, Lillian played several principal roles in musicals including Sister Mary Roberts in Sister Act, Candy in Whistle Down The Wind, Laurey in Oklahoma!, Patty in Grease, Miss Sarah Brown in Guys and Dolls, Carrie in Blitz! and Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors. She also performed as a dancer in the Opening Ceremony for the London 2012 Paralympic Games

Past students have gone on to study Musical Theatre at PPA London, and Chichester University

Lillian has an Enhanced DBS Check, Emergency Paediatric First Aid Training, and is a Licenced Chaperone for young people in performing arts.

Miss Keely - Dance Teacher

Keely trained in ISTD Modern and Tap from the age of 2 and also studied RAD Ballet. She was a student at Melanie Curtis Dance Studios, where she became an assist teacher helping in classes throughout the school.

During her A level studies Keely was a prominent member of the dance department and ran many extra curricular activities, in addition to choreographing the school’s production of We Will Rock You.

Keely joined Vinnies as a teacher in 2019. She has choreographed for our annual shows in local theatres and prepared students for taking their graded Tap Dance and Modern Theatre Dance examinations. She is currently studying towards her Diploma in Dance Education in Tap Dance and Modern Theatre Dance with the ISTD.

Keely has an Enhanced DBS Check and is a Licenced Chaperone for young people in performing arts.

Louise - Class Assistant


Louise has been training in Ballet and Musical Theatre at Vinnies for the past 3 years.

She has performed in with the NMTC Youth company and also in the Derngate Theatre with the adult NMTC cast in their production of Shrek.

Louise assists our main teachers in classes and helps to welcome new students into the school.
